Controversial activist Bonnie Mwangi arrested for “ploting revolution” against govt

Boniface Mwangi has been arrested over allegations of plotting to topple the government through a revolution.

The controversial human rights and political activist was picked from his house on Monday afternoon by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.

He was whisked to Nairobi Central Police station but it was not clear whether he was to record a statement at the station or he would be taken to Kiambu Road for interrogation.
