Shakahola death toll hits 384

The dead were found in seven graves in a community called “Judea,” according to the cops, and they are thought to belong to Paul Mackenzie’s followers.

Due to the daily discovery of additional graves, the homicide detectives claim the work will take much longer than initially thought.

We discovered 40 new mass graves at the start of the week, but we continue to discover fresh graves. In some cases, we discover graves right where we set up camp.

Coast Regional Commissioner Rhoda Onyancha reports that 253 people have had DNA samples taken, 95 have been rescued, 37 have been arrested, and 95 have undergone rescues.

She stated, “Those reported missing by their loved ones still remain at 613.” She continues by saying that exhumation will go deeper into the jungle.

To aid in the search and rescue effort, Kenya Defence Forces soldiers were sent out last month to demarcate the 50,000-acre ranch.

40 fresh mass graves had been found, according to Kithure Kindiki, secretary of the interior ministry, during the fourth wave of exhumations.
