The deceased was a student at Kiang’inda Secondary School, according to Paul Makonge, the director of criminal investigations for Nyamira South. On Thursday morning, while receiving treatment at a nearby hospital, he passed away from his wounds.

According to police records, the youngster reportedly had family members beat him up and as a result, he had serious injuries.

“The deceased was severely battered, he was unable to walk. Up until Thursday morning, when they transported him to a neighboring private hospital, the family kept him hidden in their home without any medication. Moments after he arrived, he was declared dead,” according to Mr. Makonge.

According to reports, the deceased was attacked on June 17 on a Saturday.

“The deceased was accused  of stealing Ksh50 belonged to his older sibling” According to DCI. A brawl broke out between the two brothers after he was forced to say whether or not he had taken the money. Their parents reportedly helped in beating up their younger son after their parents saw the incident.
