Tanzania’s Simba SC invade their archrivals Yanga by capturing top keeper

By

Tanzania champions Simba Sports club have invaded their arch-rivals Yanga’s den by capturing their top goalkeeper Beno Kakolanya.

The gifted goalie has signed a two year deal with Simba in next season’s league and the lucrative CAF Confederations Cup respectively.

The player is said to have demanded termination of his contract in January after his relationship with Yanga head coach Mwinyi Zahera deteriorated. The custodian has been out of action since late last year due to injury.

Kakolanya has always been relegated to the bench by Yanga since he returned home from International duty with the National soccer team Taifa Stars against Lesotho in November last year.

The player recently snubbed travelling with Yanga for a Mainland Premier League match against Mwadui FC.Yanga has accepted the transfer insisting they have paid the player his full dues.
