Samburu County driver arrested for possessing KSh1.1million without proper explanation

Police have arrested a Samburu County driver at a road block in Learata area along the Isiolo-Moyale highway. Samuel Supuko Lejisaat, 38, was found in possession of KSh1,099,000 contained in a bag in the county vehicle he was driving.
Lejisaat was taken to custody after he was unable to explain the source of the money or its intended use. Police are probing possible money laundering.
