Businessman, Reginald Mengi, one of East Africa’s richest men, has died at the age of 75 years.
Mengi is the owner of IPP media, the biggest media outlet in Tanzania, that owns 11 newspaper and radio outlets.
He hit the headlines in 2015 when he married former Miss Tourism Tanzania – Jackline Mtuyabaluya, who is 36 years younger than him and with whom he sired two children.
He was originally married to Mercy Anna Mengi, now deceased. They were married in November 1971 and had three children – Regina, Rodney and Abdiel.
She (Mercy) was 71 when she died in October 2018.
