Four Police Reservists were killed in a clash with suspected cattle rustlers at the border of Isiolo and Samburu.
The reservists were pursuing stolen goats when they were ambushed by gunmen in the area.
Police say the goats were stolen from Isiolo and were being driven to Samburu when the incident happened.
A major operation is underway in the area to pursue the attackers.
Cattle rustling is common in the area.
