Osotsi accepts ruling to strip him ANC SG position, to pursue party mechanisms

By

Nominated MP Godfrey Osotsi says he will not appeal the High Court decision to uphold the decision of the Amani Narional Congress to replace him as Secretary General.

ANC had replaced Osotsi with journalist Barack Muluka, a decision the vocal legislator contested at the Political Parties Tribunal and at the High Court.

Osotsi said he will adhere to the rule of law and extended an olive branch to his antagonists in the party to work together for the betterment of his party.

“I will pursue the internal conflict resolution mechanisms within the party constitution,” he said, warning that the move was “not a sign of surrender”.
