A 10-year old boy is nursing injuries at Nyeri County and Referral Hospital after being pulled-off his penis by his step father. The boy allegedly stole a 50-shillings note.
According to the boy’s mother, the incident happened on Thursday last week but she came to learn about it on Saturday.
This is after one of her daughters told her that their brother was in deep pain. The boy, who is in class four was forced to keep quiet by the step father and insists he did not take the alleged fifty shillings.
The mother raised an alarm where he was apprehended by the locals and taken to Endarasha Police Station where he was detained.
As per the resident surgeon Eric Mabeyas words, the boy sustained soft tissues injuries and is expected to go for a surgery later on Monday.
However, the boy urination has not been affected at all though he is traumatised and will need psychological support.
