Lille boss, Christophe Galtier, has announced Nicolas Pepe will leave the French side this summer.

Pepe is currently a hot prospect in Europe after helping Lille seal a second-place finish in the French Ligue 1 this season.

The youngster capped his spectacular season with a brace on Saturday against Angers, as Lille hammered Les Scoistes 5-0.

The brace brought Pepe’s goal tally to 22 in just 37 Ligue One appearances, crowning the haul with 11 assists.

His sensational form has attracted the interest of top clubs, with Manchester United and Arsenal leading the chase for his signature.

Galtier has, however, challenged the Ivory Coast forward to take his time and weigh his options before reaching a decision.

“Nicolas Pepe will leave. Life’s like that, football’s like that today. He is a player of the highest level who will have a big decision to make on the choice of his next club. There will be a battle between the great European teams,” he was quoted saying.

“I hope that he will take good amount of time to think about it, do his research, like he did when he came here and when he decided to stay here (last summer), find the right project.”
