Kiambu County official who was nabbed with KSh26 million to be charged

A Kiambu County officer will be charged for corruption after she was arrested by EACC detectives carrying KSh26 million.

Chief Finance Officer, Faith Njeri Harrison, was carrying the money which is understood to be delivered to a British national who sold a house to Governor Ferdinand Wait it up in Renda.

Detectives have also arrested Mr Gicharu, Kiambu County Transport Manager with 6.5M in cash.

Gicharu is Waititu’s first cousin and is believed to be the conduit between Waititu and contractors.

Chief of Staff, a prominent MCA and two CeC’s, reportedly involved in massive corruption in county are being pursued by detectives.
