Administration Police officer shoots senior eight times in Samburu

A police officer based in Samburu is to be arraigned for the murder of his senior colleague at Maralal. He is currently being held in police custody at Maralal Police Station.

Administration Police Constable Patrick Marwa is reported to have shot dead Senior Sergeant Duncan Cheruiyot for assigning him duty where he did not prefer.

“The suspect alleged that the late denied him report duty at China construction Company,” read the occurrence book report seen by Kurunzi.

Marwa shot his victim eight times using the G 3 riffle.

“The G3 riffle s/No. J 54854 with 10 rounds of ammunitions and eight spent Cartridges (were) recovered as exhibit”.

The body of the deceased was moved to Maralal Refferal Hospital Mortuary awaiting postmortem.
