AFC Leopards striker Victor Omune was the tormentor in chief as Ingwe thrashed a struggling Talanta 6-0 in a fixture staged at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Omune scored four goals as speedy winger Cliff Nyakeya added a brace to his name to cap off a fine evening for the Patrick Aussems charges.

Ingwe controlled the proceedings from kick-off with some fine passing and recovery of the ball which paid off, Omune scoring the first of his three on the 26 minute to settle the nerves.

The deadly striker would go on to add his second and third before Nyakeya picked the rout from where his teammate left adding his brace on the scoresheet.

Leopards assistant coach Thomas Juma says the change of formation and motivation within the camp helped the team get the huge win.

On his part, Talanta FC coach Ken Kenyatta lamented over his side’s poor display at home against the 12-time champions.

Kenyatta says his side has not been paid for ten months and doesn’t have a training ground to prepare for matches

Wazito FC came from behind to hold Posta Rangers to a 1-1 draw at Moi International Sports Centre (MISC) Kasarani Annex in Nairobi.

Posta scored the first goal of the afternoon through Sammy Odero but Wazito resilience paid off with Neto Collins snatching the point for his side.

Despite the draw, Wazito are still relegated threatened with 9 points after playing 12 games with Posta Rangers in 11 position with 18 points having played 15 games.
