Defending champions Kabras Sugar have been drawn against Ngong road-based Kenya Harlequin as the Enterprise Cup kicks off with a round of 16 actions on Saturday 18 March 2023.

Former Kenya cup champions KCB RFC who managed silverware last season have been drawn against Western Bulls.

The Sugarmen are the only unbeaten team in the ongoing Kenya cup and have been in fine form winning all 10 games they have played.

The Kakamega-based team went top of the Kenya Cup with a 29-23 victory over KCB at the KCB Sports Club in the highlight fixture of match day 10.

In other fixtures, Varsity side Strathmore Leos are scheduled to play Kenya U-20s, Chipu, who are using this tournament as a build-up for the Barthes U20 trophy and the World Rugby Junior Trophy.

Kenyatta University Blak Bad will take on Catholic Monks as Impala Saracens battle Mean Machine.

Mwamba takes on Kisumu with other rounds of 16 matches pitting Homeboyz against Menengai Oilers and record winners Nondescripts against South Coast Pirates.

At the same time, the second-tier Mwamba Cup also kicks off on March 18 with both finals slated for April 15.

The Enterprise Cup is the oldest and longest-running competition in Kenya rugby. First played in 1930, it is also one of the oldest competitions in Kenyan sports.

The Enterprise Cup was originally an annual fifteen’s rugby competition played between sides from Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

It is now a fifteen’s rugby knock-out competition for top Kenyan club sides.
