Uhuru nominates new IG, appoints Boinett wildlife CAS

President Uhuru Kenyatta has nominated Hilary Mutyambai to replace Joseph Boinett as the Inspector General of Police.

Boinnet has been appointed Chief Administrative Secretary in the ministry of Tourism and Wildlife.

Through an executive order, the Head of State has also nominated Wycliff Ogalo to the position of Commissioner General of prisons, Brigadier Vincent Loonena as Director General of Kenya Coast Guard and Brigadier John Waweru as Director General of Kenya Wildlife Service.

Mutyambai is the Deputy Director of the National Intelligence Service and head of counter terrorism.
