Ruto: KSh21Billion dam money loss is a flat lie

Deputy President William Ruto has dismissed reports that KSh21Billion has been lost through corruption in the construction of Kimwalel and Arror dams in Elgeyo Marakwet County.

According to the DP, the “money in question is about KSh7B.”

“And for every coin that has been paid we have a bank guarantee. No money will be lost because we are a responsible government, ” Ruto said during a State of Judiciary event presided over by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“And we have engaged every arm of government to ensure that public funds are safe and therefore the correct information should be use in the fight against corruption.”
