Nurses are fighting to keep their jobs after the government sought the court’s directive on the strike.

Union officials have remained defiant despite the Council of Governors maintaining they had obtained a court order declaring the strike ‘illegal.’

Kenya National Union of Nurses secretary general, Seth Panyako, has dismissed the CoG as a ‘amorphous and which cannot sue or be sued.’

The Labour relations court will deliver it’s verdict on an application to jail union officials for ignoring a court order obtained on February 5.
