FKF rolls out first of its kind course for Basic, CAF C Instructors
Football Kenya Federation(FKF) President Nick Mwendwa has expressed confidence Kenya football will benefit immensely from the on-going two-week course for instructors.
The president said Kenya has untapped talent that will gain a lot from the participants attending the two weeks course and called upon the attendees to take their lessons seriously and impart their gained knowledge to their respective regions.
Mwendwa spoke this when he presided over the opening ceremony of a two-week course for Instructors at the Kenya Institute of Special Studies (KISS) at Kasarani.
The course targets Basic/Advanced coaching course and CAF C License instructors who spearheaded coaching courses that benefited over 2000 trainers countrywide.
Under the tutelage of UEFA Pro Instructor Erich Rutenmoeller, the course is expected to churn out sixty instructors who will then be tasked with passing the knowledge on to grassroot coaches.
“We were able to seize this opportunity for our instructors in order to help impact the coaches under their tutelage who we have tasked with improving our game at the grassroots,” said FKF President, Nick Mwendwa.
Among the participants include Jacob ‘Ghost “Mulee,Musa Otieno,Twahir Muhiddin,Harambee Starlets head coach David Ouma and Festus Serenge /
Others are Leonard Salleh,William Muluya, and Florence Odhiambo among others .
