Matiangi warns betting firms against tax evasion, license revocation by July 1

Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi has warned betting companies, casinos and other gaming industry operators that their licenses will be cancelled from July 1 should they be found to have evaded tax.

Matiangi was on a visit to the Betting Control and Licensing Board said a thorough audit on the different betting firms will seek to establish whether they have been involved in any form of tax fraud.
